Mmm Mmm yummies!

 Chocolate Coconut Oatmeal
...need I say more?!!
This was sooo yummy!!
I got the recipe from
I can't wait to try out some of the other kinds!
They all look delicious!!
I love LOVE this blog!

Another blog I visit frequently got to is
That is where I got the idea for these
Musketeers
mini bars

They are sooo easy and sooo yummy!!

Homemade Tortillas!!
How yummy do these look!!

You will have a hard time eating store bought tortillas after  having these...

consider yourself WARNED!

First you mix up
4 cups flour
1 Tbsp Salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup milk
1/2 cup water

yep thats it!!

Then take a small amount and roll it out as thin as you can get it without tearing it...the more flour on the counter the better.

Then I put them on my griddle.  I am sure a frying pan would work I just could get two done at once with this.

Do you see all those bubbles?  That is how you know when it is ready to flip...

This happens fairly quick so watch them closely...

You only want a few light brown spots.
Leave on the other side for about 1-2 minutes and then place them in an oven preheated to warm until the others are done.

Add your favorite toppings

and ENJOY!!

  1. This is really Yvonne commenting, I'm just on my husband's desktop so this is his username. I needed a tortilla recipe! Thanks for the compliment on my house - I got the table & chair set unfinished from IKEA for $25 and painted it black for Mason's 1st birthday. But just last week I saw that Ana White had plans for a similar table and chairs for obviously cheaper if you build it yourself. Her little chairs are stackable but sturdy enough for an adult to sit on!!!
